So as a Category Buyer for bunker industry, you will be responsible for the procurement of different types of marine fuels for the fleet of DEME Group.

Your responsibilities
- Purchasing of marine fuels (HFO, DMA, LNG, Biofuels and others) from sourcing, operational, and account servicing worldwide.
- Identifying new suppliers on the market and develop a longterm relationship with them.
- Following the trends on the market and identify opportunities accordingly.
- Support internal clients (vessels and sites) with ad-hoc duties when required.
Your profile
- A maritime education or relevant experience from the shipping or bunker industry is considered as a strong asset.
- Applicants without prior marine experience will be considered too. We will provide on the job training and coaching by the current team and Category Manager.
- You have a genuine interest in bunkers, shipping and market development.
- You are team player, have a flexible attitude and are a problem solver.
- You are result-oriented and capable of working with hard deadlines.
- You are strongly communicative and assertive.
- Fluent in English, Dutch is considered as a strong asset.
