As the S&OP teamleader, you will be responsible for leading a central team of S&OP planners to optimize our Supply chain across our different markets (focus on NL, Belux, FR, Polen and UK) to deliver customer value, from forecasting and demand planning to supply planning and inventory management. You will work closely with other functional areas, including finance, sales, ICT and product development to ensure alignment and coordination across the organization.
Job description
- Develop and execute sales and operations plans, including forecasting, demand planning, supply planning and inventory management
- Continuously monitor and evaluate supply chain performance KPI’s. As a business process owner, you define and implement process improvements and best practices across our markets
- Work closely with the sales teams to identify customer needs and ensure that the supply chain is setup to deliver exceptional service and value.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- As we have capital intensive products, you will need to manageinventory levels on a central and local level by defining the right stock policy for our different product categories. Ensure we meet the local service level agreements, specific for our local markets.
- Effectively managing change within different markets with different organizational maturity and cultures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor on supply chain management and operational issues.
- Lead a team of S&OP planners by motivating, inspiring and coaching them to perform at their best. You will have to dedicate sufficient time to develop your team and yourself.
- We are continuously exploring the exciting possibilities of new technologies in supply chain management (eg. AI in forecasting, DDMRP in supply planning). We expect you to stay up to date of emerging trends and technologies to improve supply chain performance.
- In this role, you will be a critical member of our group supply chain team, reporting to our Group Supply chain & procurement manager. This team is driving a strategic roadmap that will bring our Supply chain to the next level, which is a crucial element of Reynaers’ growth journey.
Your profile
- A combination of a Master’s degree with minimum 5 y experience in Supply chain management, preferably in an industrial production environment
- Knowledge on forecasting with Artificial Intelligence or DDMRP logic in supply planning is considered as a plus
- A proven track record of successful process improvements increasing customer satisfaction, service performance or inventory optimization.
- Experience in Lean six sigma is considered as a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- You know how to inspire, build engagement and drive results within your team and projects
- Strong analytical skills with a can-do mentality: you think in opportunities and solutions and don’t accept the status quo
- You are able to find a good balance between strategic and conceptual thinking with a pragmatic attitude to roll up your sleeves if needed
- You are a real teamplayer that can influence in a natural way
- Of course you are able to work with MS office
- You speak fluently Dutch and English. French is considered as a plus
