Our client is a Network & Security integrator based in Diegem. They are looking to strengthen their team with a Junior Network Engineer.
Functieomschrijving
In this role, you will have a focus on supporting Routing & Switching as well as diving into the Mobile domain.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Resolving technical issues, analyzing problems, troubleshooting, and conducting maintenance activities.
- Providing support for Routing & Switching and Telecom-related tasks.
- Troubleshooting issues in ISP networks and systems.
- Collaborating with vendors to effectively manage incidents and problems.
- Ensuring comprehensive documentation of all work delivered.
Vereiste ervaring
- You have a Bachelor or Master degree and a first experience as Network Engineer.
- Having a strong passion for Networking and Mobile/Telecom is a prerequisite for this role, accompanied by a genuine drive to continuously learn.
- Excellent troubleshooting/analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Network equipment (routers, gateways, switches, ... ).
- Knowledge of Network protocols: RADIUS, HTTP, Diameter,... are a big plus
- Knowledge of Linux (Redhat or other OS) and shell scripting are a big plus.
- Fluent in English and French/Dutch.
